The Island Group have introduced a scheme whereby people diagnosed with MS can obtain various therapies paid for by the branch.
Here's how the scheme works.
If you have been diagnosed with MS you can apply for Therapy Vouchers. The first thing to do is to apply to Karen Holmes by post
You will then be sent a letter on which a record of treatments you have had will be kept. It will also contain the vouchers.
There will be 36 vouchers each of which will have £5 value. Making a total of£180. Each time you have a treatment you present the correct value of vouchers to the therapist and they record the type of treatment, the date and the cost on your letter. This will be your record of how much you have spent.
It sounds much more complicated than it actually is - give it a try to find out!
Once you have received your vouchers, it is up to you to choose just what treatment you want and which will be of most benefit to you. You then choose from the list of approved therapists, choose your treatment and make an appointment.
Vouchers cannot be used for any other services and, if not used within the dates specified will no longer be valid. Any credit left on the voucher cannot therefore be carried over.
The group reserve the right to withdraw the scheme at any time or alter the value of such vouchers. However, whilst it is in force, will renew the vouchers to the value of £180 every six months.
Any decisions regarding the scheme remain at the desecration of the coordinating team.
If you have
any questions or you require further information about the scheme, please
contact Karen. If you have any questions about the different treatments,
please contact the therapy practice.
