Dates for your diary

Could we please remind everyone to give us a week's notice of their intention to come to the meal.
If a lunch is booked by a member and they do not turn up without canceling at least 24 hours prior, they will receive a bill for the full amount of the lunch.
This is necessary as there have been as many as eight people book and not attend. The branch have to pay for those meals . . . . Eight meals at eleven pounds each =

The Isle of Wight coordinating team would like to thank Lisa and Dean Addison for stepping in to take on the role of Social organizers.
They take on the job that Mike and Teresa did so successfully for the Island for many years. I'm sure that everyone will agree what a great job they did too.
Lisa and Dean would like to continue the good work but need your help. They need ideas and suggestions for future venues and your thoughts about other social activities the group could organize. Most of all, they need to see people getting together and enjoying each others company.

Their contact details are given below.

We are holding bowling sessions in association with the Oddfellows, we were made very welcome.

Jenny would like to ask more members if they would like to attend the next session. We enjoy two games and a drink. The Isle of Wight branch pay for people diagnosed with MS. The cost is just £6.95 per person for carers. It's good exercise and accessible to all.

Click the 'Super Bowl ' logo to see some pictures and read about the sessions.

The Oddfellows have bowling sessions booked and all are welcome to join them. Jenny will need names though by a week beforehand to book lanes.

Contact Jenny for more information or to book a place.

Something that should be "Whats on" all the time, is to get out and enjoy the beautiful Island. To make the most of what we have on our doorsteps, I have started the ball rolling by listing some of my favorite walks and picnic places. The list covers walks for people in wheelchairs through to those where legs are essential. I would stress, it is just a starter list of some walks that I enjoy.

Please - email me with your suggestions for special places, walks and picnics and I'll include them on the map
